Harrison Ford is unbelievable as a network security administrator for a bank. He proves this because in the film he claims he doesn’t know how to gamble online. What sort of moron would entrust someone with the network security of millions of dollars when said person doesn’t know how to point and click on a website?
The ending is hokey. The family dynamic and chemistry is ingenuine. Virginia Madsen tries so hard but she just clashes with Ford’s stony exterior. The kids suck also.
Robert Patrick tries to save the film as a gung ho security specialist trying to save the day, but he just disappears towards the end of the film. I was hoping Harrison Ford’s character would be killed by Paul Bettany’s character and then Robert Patrick would roll up in his Mercedes and kill Paul Bettany.
Harrison Ford needs to stick to roles where his characters’ last names are one of the following: Jones, Ryan, Solo.
I know this review blows but I’m tired and hungry and I am waiting for my Ramen downstairs to cook. I realized that I had watched a ton of movies in the last few weeks but had forgotten to review any of them.
2/10
